I went through what most of you are going through.  I (a chemist) was laid off 20 years ago. I “graduated” from a job search workshop with the instructor’s remark “You are so good, I wouldn’t worry about you!” I have since managed to get what I want in my career moves. I actually enjoyed job interviews and had fun in all the endeavors!
